PHOENIX, Arizona, May 17, 2019 This just in: four talented friends - all powerful sorcerers in their own right - have invented a new way to collect, catalog, curate and collate a list of all the drinking games there are, and they've named their spawn DrinkingGames.beer. Hot on the heels of announcing this earth-shattering, first-of-its-kind innovation comes a second announcement: I'm happy to announce on behalf of Trevor, Tony, Doug, Jess, and the rest of the DrinkingGames.beer family that we are incorporating. That's right - like some kind of corporate pinnochio finally becoming a real boy-conglomerate, by the end of this month the website that you've all grown up reading at DrinkingGames.beer shall henceforth and forevermore be branded DrinkingGames.beer, LLC. DrinkingGames.beer, LLC was founded in 2016 by four friends, as a way for all interested parties to learn more about drinking games and learn how to have the most fun possible while drinking responsibly... DrinkingGames.beer, LLC was founded in 2016 by four friends, as a way for all interested parties to learn more about drinking games and learn how to have the most fun possible while drinking responsibly. "We started the site as a way to document our quest to find all of the drinking games there are, beer pong rules for each state, and even something fun to do this summer." said all four of the founders in Stepford-esque unison. The team has since attended events ranging from EDC and Country Thunder, to stopping by my house to make me feel better when I was depressed. Their next major appearance will be at the 2019 Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, where DrinkingGames.beer will be in attendance playing their signature drinking games on the premises, handing out major swag, and trying to get Tiesto or Steve Aoki to join them for a few games of Beer Hunter. They currently see more than 5,000 unique visitors on their website per week, including visitors from the US, UK, many parts of Europe, Japan, and South America. In the US alone, 85% of adults say that they consume alcohol, leaving a potential target audience of over 195 million users - this isn't including the millions living outside of the US who also enjoy drinking responsibly. While the team doesn't want to reveal too much, they also hint that they've unearthed the secrets of an ancient oracle, detailing predictions about not only this summer's hottest events, but a major restructuring of civilization as we know it. "Look, I'm not going to hop around the busch and pretend we haven't all seen the future with our own two budweiss. When the Galactic Restructuring happens sometime in the next couple centuries, the art of drinking games will be stuck at the bottom of the bottle forever. That's why we want a list of every drinking game on DrinkingGames.beer before it's too late. The future is at stake." said Trevor Balthrop, co-founder of DrinkingGames.beer. "We want people to have fun. Life's tough enough, we're here to lighten the load and make sure we all do it responsibly." he was also quoted as saying. By incorporating, the company hopes to tap into their keg-full of goals: maintaining a website that is free to use by everyone, surpassing the number of drinking games listed on Wikipedia (the runnings are close at the moment), helping the community by donating to responsible charities such as the Comic Relief Project and the Trevor Project, and expanding the number of collaborating partners from 4 to over 20. From there, they hope to keep the site online and focus on finding avenues to improve it for its visitors while developing a top-secret billion-dollar app that will literally remove your socks. This will include targeting media interested in events, parties, and entertainment as well as seeking general audience appeal. Through its partnerships with similar companies and continued appearances at major events with arms full of free swag to give away (and I've been making sure they're all putting in their time at the gym to carry more) they plan to bring people away to have fun, make friends, drink responsibly and save the Earth! Trevor Balthrop founded DrinkingGames.beer in the hopes that drunks would stop fighting one another. He constantly finds himself in situations where he must act as the referee or the voice of reason (our finest diviners label him a Capricorn). He has been an avid gamer since the age of 3 - but we promise he was playing beer pong with cups of juice at that age. Tony Emery is Trevor's right-hand man and co-founder of DrinkingGames.beer. He is their valorous knight in shining flak jacket and a thirst for great brews. I asked Tony what makes him a great fit for DrinkingGames.beer and he said "Well, number one I love to drink." before wandering away (Still waiting for word on number two). He's competitive by nature but a real showman of good sportsmanship and even single-handedly won at least one war for us.
